Veteran - once a soldier, forever a hero!
Decorate A Card For A Veteran!
This page is for Children as well as Adults who are Young At Heart! How about printing out a card, decorating it and sending it to us to present to Disabled American Veterans in hospitals or nursing homes! Sound like fun? I hope so! And a card from you would really brighten the days of these wonderful people.
We need a lot of cards for each holiday and it's never to early to decorate cards! Please print out as many cards as you would like to decorate OR you can make your own cards! Make it a family project and enjoy yourself! Use crayons, pencils, paint, cotton, cloth, anything you like. Change them any way you want! Write anything you'd like on the cards. Make them patriotic if you want to! Card stock paper works great for 1/2 fold cards and regular printer paper do fine for the 1/4 fold cards. No need for envelopes, just put them all in one large envelope and send them to the address on our contact page.
Please help us brighten the holidays for our Disabled American Veterans in care facilities! Perhaps you could suggest this project to your schools, day cares, clubs and other organizations as well! And I'd enjoy hearing from you and knowing you are doing this project! It would be very encouraging to know people are helping us with this.
It's really easy! Just click on the names of the cards below and when the new window opens up print it out and have fun with it! They are turned so when you print them out you can fold the paper in half for 1/2 fold cards or in half and then in half again for 1/4 fold cards and have a nice card. OR you can save them to your computer to print out. Please close each window before opening the next.
Each person who sends cards for Veterans will receive a Certificate of Appreciation and their artwork featured on this site (along with their name and info if they want to).
