We were very honored to install a flag and monument in Powell Valley Cemetary in honor of all who have served and their families. Much Thanks to Gap Monument for donating the monument, you are appreciated! |

We often go to Huddle House after our functions to unwind and enjoy each others company. Huddle House is a great sponor of DAVA 45 and we are very thankful to them. |

June 14th, 2007 was Flag Day. Jr Vice Com Gene Wade gave a strong heartfelt reading of "I Am The Flag". This is something everyone should read often, it's so inspirational. Gene did a great job! |

We'd like to thank Verizon Pioneers for giving us the opportunity to help them in their wonderful project. Our DAVA, along with our DAV Chapter, donated to Verizon Pioneers to help ship care packages to our troops in Iraq. |

We served hotdogs to Veterans after one of their functions. |

Bunny Easter Baskets with prayers in the eggs were delivered to over 60 Disabled Veterans in care facilities. |

Bake sale in front of Walmart to benefit our Christmas Fund for Veterans in nursing homes.

The unit made Patriotic Thank You Cards and Bouquets for Veterans in Nursing Homes on Veterans Day 2006. Chaplain Hall had a broken ankle and couldn't travel but she sent pencils. Pictured above is Matilda McFall and Bill Buckles who traveled to the Nursing Homes.
